A lifelong Virginian, Brian grew up around his uncle’s auction business assisting in many capacities. In 2009, he made the formal leap from the corporate world and became a licensed auctioneer after attending the Bernie Pleasants School of Auctioneering. Brian loves all aspects of the auction world and seeks to satisfy each client with excellent results. He conducts multiple auctions weekly for various estates and charities throughout central Virginia. Brian’s electric personality and his ability to connect with an organization and their supporters has helped him raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for a variety of nonprofits.
Brian is also a licensed real estate agent and property manager. He received a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia. Brian resides in Richmond, VA and has been a part of the Swisher Auctions team for four years.
From the age of seven when he worked his first auction, Kevin Pauley has been a part of the auction business. As a teenager, he attended Mendenhall School of Auctioneering and began bid calling for everything from estates to real estate to automobiles.
His career turned to pharmaceutical and then medical sales. He currently spends his days in cardiac catheterization labs and operating rooms selling interventional devices for coronary and peripheral vascular disease.
However, Kevin’s true passion remains in auctioneering. As a result, Kevin has built a business in fundraising consulting and conducting benefit auctions. For more than 10 years, Kevin has been helping nonprofit organizations build successful events that exceed their fundraising goals: something both exciting and rewarding to him. His energy during the sale is contagious!
Kevin is also a devoted husband and father, and he finds joy spending time with his wife Michelle children Morgan, Adam, and Abigail. If they join him hiking or fishing—his two favorite hobbies—then that makes the perfect day!
