Justin and Brian, thank you so much for all of your help, both in the planning leading up to last night and spectacular management of the event. There is no way we could have pulled it off without you. Brian, you absolutely stole the show and everyone was raving about what an incredible job you did. We exceeded every fundraising goal we had and set a fundraising record for the school. In addition to raising a ton of money, everyone just had such a great time. You were equal parts Master of Ceremonies, keeping us on schedule and moving in the right direction all night, Entertainer and Fundraiser Extraordinaire. My friends and I marveled late into the evening at the way you skillfully kept pulling bids from the room. Our 2020 event was the most successful the school had ever had and brought in $77K. Right now, my dashboard is showing us at $110K—a 43% increase even though we had fewer attendees this year. Thank you so much for the tremendous impact you made for our school last night. I can’t say enough how much we appreciate all of your work on our behalf.

So, first off, I just wanted to say how much I loved working with both of you. To sum it up, I didn’t know what I didn’t know. I look at yesterday and it would have been a totally different event without you. Not even close. We raised $100k yesterday!!!!! Having you guys was the difference between a $20k day and a $100k day. I am not even kidding. We only sold about $8,500 in silent auction items and about $8,000 in raffles/mulligans. I am sure we would have gotten a little bit more live but would have never even thought about the mission moment. Securing our $20k leadership donor was brilliant and kept us on schedule because he had a plane to catch. Justin, you were so helpful and responsive and Brian you were an absolute dream to work with. Seriously, I just can’t stop raving! I’ll make sure to give you a shout out to anyone else who is doing a fundraiser. Our initial goal was $50k total. We’ll probably end up somewhere between $180-200k. Unbelievable. Oh and you were spot on…20 Mexico trips, and 2 Tuscany trips for $8500 each. You must know what you are talking about.

A HUGE thank you for your guidance this year on the Gala’s auction and fund-a-need. Unbelievable how much value you bring to the entire process. Many people asked for your contact information for other non-profits. Our live auction raised $780,000 which was $110,260 over last year’s total! We do not have a date yet for the 2021 Gala, but should within the next month as we are finalizing next year’s budget. We will reach out as we definitely want you to return!

Wow! What a great night we had on Saturday! You were fanatic with the crowd. The bids on most of the packages far exceeded our expectations – and you sold the 4Runner! That was HUGE! Your guidance throughout the whole process was greatly appreciated! Thanks again for all of the time and energy you put into making this event such a success! I wanted to touch base with you before the weekend, and let you know that we had an incredibly successful event. Thank you so much for the amazing work that you did during the auction portion of the evening. It was such a pleasure working with you and we were thoroughly impressed by the level of detail, energy, professionalism, etc.. Thank goodness you had two additional people on your team to assist with the very unusual set up and spacing of the different seating areas. We knew that was going to be a challenge, and it was the first time we’ve ever had this many people seated for dinner.

Justin crushed it! Everyone was smitten! Thank you for everything! I can’t tell you the number of text messages and comments I am getting from people about how well the night went. I can’t thank you enough for everything!

This year we had approximately 50 fewer guests but were able to generate more revenue than last year as well in any previous year. Contributing factors were that the auctioneer was excellent, the single most important change was the decision to use Swisher Auctions to run our event. This was an un-budgeted cost but ultimately proved to be a game changer for our event. Swisher provided us with the vacation package used in the Last Donor Giving, which raised $3,200! Swisher also provided two vacation packages on consignment that were vital to our live auction and necessary when we had no large items for auction only six weeks prior to the event. Everyone agreed the auctioneer was excellent and did a first rate job controlling the room.

You knocked it out of the park tonight! The live and raise the paddle bits seriously beat all expectations. I was constantly pinching myself at the levels our packages cleared. SIX Italy buyers!!! We can’t wait to get the full report but know it will have surpassed all expectations!”

If you have never seen Justin Swisher in action you owe it to yourself to go to one of his auctions. He was amazing. The fundraiser ended with a silent and live auction at the Commonwealth Club and Justin ran the show. After talking to the people at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society they said that this was their most successful auction ever. I never realized what went into a successful auction and it is a lot of work. Once again thank you!
