This year we had approximately 50 fewer guests but were able to generate more revenue than last year as well in any previous year. Contributing factors were that the auctioneer was excellent, the single most important change was the decision to use Swisher Auctions to run our event. This was an un-budgeted cost but ultimately proved to be a game changer for our event. Swisher provided us with the vacation package used in the Last Donor Giving, which raised $3,200! Swisher also provided two vacation packages on consignment that were vital to our live auction and necessary when we had no large items for auction only six weeks prior to the event. Everyone agreed the auctioneer was excellent and did a first rate job controlling the room.

If you have never seen Justin Swisher in action you owe it to yourself to go to one of his auctions. He was amazing. The fundraiser ended with a silent and live auction at the Commonwealth Club and Justin ran the show. After talking to the people at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society they said that this was their most successful auction ever.
